Highly nutritious medium specially developed for the preparation of blood agar which favors the development of fastidious organisms
Packaging
Suspend 30 grams of the medium in one liter of distilled water. Heat with frequent agitation until complete dissolution. Sterilize at 121ºC for 15 minutes. For preparing blood agar, cool to 45-50ºC and add 7 % of defibrinated sterile blood and homogenize avoiding bubble formation, and pour into Petri plates.
